Source Our Textiles

Backstrap woven textiles are our specialty at Maya Traditions and we believe they could be a great addition to your designs and products. Our artisans work with backstrap looms and create textiles in pieces called liensos, which are 17″-20″ wide and 90″ long.

I have loved working with Maya Traditions' textiles. The colours are rich and vibrant and I know and can feel that the cloth is strong, much like I imagine the weavers to be.
